JKBMS Technical Hub — Guides, Compatibility & Downloads
Find JKBMS technical resources for battery projects and energy storage system integration. Start with your exact board series, model and hardware revision, then use the matching guide and product manual.
A documented example or protocol option is not confirmation that every inverter model or wiring configuration is compatible.
BMS selection
How to Choose the Right BMS — Review selection considerations before choosing a board. Confirm cell configuration, battery chemistry, current requirements and the specifications of the exact model.
Interfaces and connections
- B & BD Series Smart BMS Interface Guide — Identify the interfaces on your B/BD board and check version-specific differences.
- Inverter BMS Interface Guide — Review the home energy storage board interfaces alongside your model-specific manual.
- B/BD Wiring and Function Guide — Review the reference drawing and version-specific interfaces. Heating-film and temperature-sensor connections are separate.
JKBMS PC-software connection: B/BD uses USB-TTL at the protection board's GPS port. PB uses USB-RS485 at the separate interface board's RS485 port. Do not interchange these cables. PB protection-board UART/display connectors serve the display function, not PC-software communication. These connection details do not establish third-party software compatibility.
Display compatibility
PB boards require PB-compatible TTL-P displays. B/BD boards use B/BD-compatible RS485 displays. The two families are not interchangeable, even when the screens are the same size.
- Display Compatibility: B/BD vs. PB — Start here to choose the correct display family.
- B/BD Display Guide — Compatible display models and example screen views.
- PB Display Guide: LCD 4.3 vs. LCD 7.0 — Compare PB display sizes and installation considerations.
Parallel-system examples
- PB Parallel Wiring & Setup Example for Two 8S Packs — A documented main/slave example, not universal wiring instructions.
- BMS Soft Parallel Connection via P-LINK — B/BD HC and HCRPB can use the matching P-LINK module. P-LINK is not for PB boards and is different from the hard-parallel Parallel Module.
Check both the product description and the manual for your exact board before connecting packs, changing addresses or selecting a communication protocol.
Hardware revisions and firmware
PB V15 vs. V19: Hardware Differences & Firmware Compatibility — Identify your hardware revision before updating. Do not interchange V15 and V19 firmware.
Inverter compatibility enquiries
A brand name alone is not enough to establish compatibility. When requesting help, provide your JKBMS model, hardware revision and firmware version, the inverter's exact model and firmware, and whether the intended connection uses CAN or RS485. Include the relevant communication manual or clear connector photos. Confirm the protocol and pinout before wiring.
Manuals, downloads and troubleshooting
- Download Center — Find product manuals and available product resources.
- How to Find the Right JKBMS Manual — Match the documentation to your exact board and hardware revision.
- App Password Guide — Guidance for changed or forgotten app passwords.
- Technical Support — Submit your order number, exact model and a description of the issue, with photos or videos where relevant.
Purchasing and project enquiries
Use the JKBMS Buying Guide for purchasing resources and local-stock destination boundaries. For integrator or reseller projects, use the Wholesale enquiry page with your required models, quantities, battery configuration and destination.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose a display by screen size alone?
No. Confirm the board series and full display model. PB TTL-P and B/BD RS485 displays are not interchangeable.
Can I use a parallel example as instructions for any battery system?
No. The linked examples document specific configurations. Follow the product description and manual for your exact board and system.
Does an inverter brand appearing in a protocol list prove compatibility?
No. Confirm the exact inverter model, protocol, firmware and connection requirements before treating a pairing as compatible.
Where should I start if I am unsure which guide applies?
Check the label and hardware revision on your board, then contact technical support with the exact model and your application.
